Caller angry about downvalley snowplowing
Vail, CO Colorado
GYPSUM – A Gypsum man yelled and cursed at a public works employee over the phone Feb. 23.
He was upset because the town plowed Highway 6 after he’d finished shoveling snow out of his driveway and his drive was blocked again. He screamed at the lady that the Colorado Department of Transportation was supposed to plow that road, not the town. He repeated the F-word so many times that the employee contacted the town manager, who then asked an Eagle County Sheriff deputy to speak with the man.
The deputy told the man he had asked the town to plow Highway 6 because CDOT had not. He also told the man that he should not speak that way to people, especially to women. The officer said if the man did so again he would be cited or arrested.
