Carbondale man charged with making fake IDs

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado ” A Carbondale man has been arrested after allegedly selling a fake ID to an undercover detective.
Eliuu Franco-Olmos, 30, sold a fake residence alien card and fake Social Security card to the detective for $150, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was arrested Saturday by the Sheriff’s Office, with help from the Avon and Carbondale police departments.
Olmos’ computer and software were seized as evidence, police said. Other fake IDs and fake Colorado Temporary vehicle registration tags were also seized, according to police.
Olmos was charged with forgery, possession of forged instruments and possession of a forgery device, all felonies.
Olmos is being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility on a $2,500 bond. He also has an Immigration and Customs Enforcement immigration detainer.
