Vail Daily Town Talk: CareerX job shadow at HAATS

Career X Job Shadow at HAATS Students from Eagle Valley, Red Canyon, and Battle Mountain High Schools had the opportunity to participate in a job shadow at the High-Altitude Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (HAATS) as part of the Career Exploration Program at Eagle County School District. Commander Tony Somogyi led the students through a guided discussion on aeronautical engineering, thermodynamics, aviation and military career pathways. Students also toured the world class HAATS facility and received instruction on the aircraft. The Career X Program offers students the opportunity to explore career pathways through local business partnerships.
