Cars broken into in Gypsum
Gypsum, CO Colorado
GYPSUM, Colorado –Four unlocked cars were broken into in in residential areas of Gypsum early Sunday, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says.
A stereo and speakers were among various items stolen from the vehicles that were parked on Jules Drive and Lost Lane, the Sheriff’s Office says.
The Sheriff’s Office recommend that residents close car windows, locks and not leave the keys inside regardless of whether they are leaving the car for a few minutes or several hours. It also is recommended to keep packages or valuables in trunks. Anything left in the car should be covered or stowed out of sight.
