CASA golf fundraiser in Vail Valley May 21

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado “-Court Appointed Special Advocates of the Continental Divide will hold its second annual charitable golf tournament at the Red Sky Ranch, Norman Course, in Wolcott on May 21.

This is the biggest fundraiser for the organization that trains Vail Valley volunteers to advocate for children who have been r abused and neglected children in Eagle, Lake, Summit and Clear Creek counties.

There will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start and the entry fee is $250 per person or $1,000 per foursome. This fee includes golf, silent auction and lunch. Sponsors and volunteer’s are also needed.

Golf slots are limited. Call Court Appointed Special Advocates at 970-513-9390 to reserve for spot or fore more information.

The organization works to reunite kids with their families or find them safer places to live. Last year, the group served 36 kids in Eagle County and a total of 110 in its four-county region. The group has 16 volunteers in Eagle County and a total of 61.

This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

The organization the need for its services is increasing most quickly in Eagle County than in the other three counties it serves.
