Case continued in Eagle-Vail suicide

EAGLE, Colorado ” The case of a 19-year-old Vail Valley resident who the sheriff’s department says handed his friend a shotgun and then killed himself was continued for a second time on Wednesday.
Jacob Weiss will appear back in Eagle County court for a motion and disposition hearing at 11 a.m. Jan. 30.
That will be Weiss’ last chance to make a plea before having to either go to trial or plead guilty in the case. He faces charges of manslaughter (assisting suicide), reckless endangerment and prohibited use of a firearm.
