Vail CO, Colorado
MINTURN, Colorado ” The Minturn-Red Cliff Business Association is hosting the first “St. Patty’s Day Explosion” on Monday starting at 4 p.m. Gallegos Corp. will present fireworks at 8 p.m., and local restaurants will offer specials all evening, including corned beef and cabbage and green drinks.
Local businesses will host open houses and a raffle with prizes. After the fireworks, Laughing Bones will play at Kirby Cosmos BBQ in Minturn, and Little Hercules will play at Mango’s Mountain Grill in Red Cliff.
Jay Raiola, broker and owner of My Mountain Realtor, opened her Main Street office in July and has recently re-organized the Minturn-Red Cliff Business Association.
“With more businesses settling in Minturn and Red Cliff and the inevitable growth we are about to experience, it seemed time to re-organize the business association to promote our towns as well as provide advocacy in matters that will affect us as business owners,” Raiola said. “Many of us have recently discovered Minturn and Red Cliff and have come to appreciate them as hidden gems that represent what is left of our local history. We’re excited to be part of the next chapter in the life of these great little towns.”
Randy Milhoan, of Milhoan Studios and vice president of the business association, agreed.
“We hope the St. Patty’s Day Explosion will become a much anticipated annual event. We are glad to join with Red Cliff to showcase our growing and diverse business communities and hope to have a increasing array of events and activities for guests and locals. Our towns have a unique flavor in the upper Eagle valley and are full of great possibilities.”

Are we seeing more bears because there are more bears on the valley floor, or because we’re all spending more time at home? It could be a bit of both.
