BEAVER CREEK, Colorado ” The Vilar Center continues their holiday week programming tonight with a special performance featuring The Lettermen. The group referred to as one of the “greatest vocal collaborations of all time” return to the stage in Beaver Creek for an encore performance, singing the timeless hits of the season in their enduring harmonies.

The Lettermen rose to fame in the late 1950s with such romantic anthems as “When I Fall in Love,” “Theme From a Summer Place,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Hurt So Bad” and “Shangri-La.” They’ve produced over 75 albums since then, and maintain a whirlwind touring schedule that often sees them performing over 100 times per year.

The Lettermen sold out the Vilar Center last February, and return for this engagement in Beaver Creek. This time around, they bring to the stage your favorite Christmas songs with the signature melodies only The Lettermen can achieve. Their warm, inviting voices meld to create unforgettable versions of classics such as “Noel, Noel,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “We Three Kings” and “Away in a Manger.”

Interspersing their signature harmonies with elements of swing and jazz, The Lettermen bring to life these songs with new verve and passion, and create holiday spirit.

The current Lettermen lineup includes Tony Butala, the founder of the group who has been with them for over 45 years, as well as Mark Preston and Donovan Tea who have been members since 1984.

Tickets for The Lettermen Christmas are $58 and are available by calling the Vilar Center Box Office at 845-TIXS or by visiting vilarpac.org.
