Celebration of life for Eagle adventurer Derrick Dreyer scheduled for Sunday

A celebration of life has been scheduled for well-known adventurer Derrick Dreyer, of Eagle, who was killed in an automobile accident on Saturday, July 19.
Dreyer, 39, was the driver of a vehicle that veered off the road and rolled over near Sylvan Lake State Park. Passenger Zach Daniels survived, suffering severe injuries.
Dreyer was the golf course superintendent at Frost Creek Country Club in Eagle and was active in local kayaking, snowmobiling and dirt biking communities where he was regarded as a top-level athlete and outdoor products ambassador.
Dreyer’s family will be celebrating his life on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Frost Creek Country Club, where friends are invited to gather and share stories of Dreyer’s action-packed life.
