FridayMinturn Independence Day celebration starts at 6 p.m. in historic downtown Minturn. Fireworks, live music, food, family fun, baked goods contest, bingo and more are just part of the small-town festival of fun.SaturdayA Salute to Freedom starts off Fourth of July festivities in Beaver Creek at 6 p.m. on the Village Green with music by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. The event is free. Call the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival at 827-5700 or visit http://www.vailmusicfestival.org for more information.In Vail, live entertainers will be at Lionshead, Sliver Square and Seibert Circle from 1-5 p.m. Also, theColorado Ambassadors Gospel Choir can be heard from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at East Meadow Drive near the Vail Village.SundayIn Vail, live entertainers will be at Lionshead, Sliver Square and Seibert Circle from 1-5 p.m.Avon’s Salute to the U.S.A. starts off with carnival games, picnics and other festivities at 5 p.m. at Nottingham Lake Park. Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. over the lake. Over 10,000 shells will explode in the sky in a colorful display. Please leave dogs, personal fireworks, coolers and alcohol at home. Alcoholic beverages are for sale in the park.MondayVail America Days Parade will make its red-whit-and-blue way from Golden Peak to Lionshead from 10 a.m.-noon, followed by the Vail America Days All-American picnic and free music at Ford Park from 1-10 p.m.Fourth of July Clambake at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek offers live entertainment, barbeque, seafood and outdoor fun for all ages for $49 per adult and 425 for children 5-11 (younger children are free).
