Children’s Garden of Learning in Vail names new executive director

VAIL, Colorado – The Children’s Garden of Learning preschool has announced that Jamie Jones has been named executive director.

“Jamie has a vast array of both knowledge and hands-on experience in Reggio Emilia-inspired preschools,” said Emily Tamberino, president of the Children’s Garden board of directors. “This, combined with her energy, enthusiasm and positive can-do attitude, made her the exciting choice for this job. We are pleased to have such an eminently qualified person leading the school into a very exciting future.”

Originally from southern Minnesota, Jamie graduated with a BA in elementary education from Bethel College in St. Paul. She has experience working in a variety of classrooms from fourth grade to Infants, toddlers and preschoolers. She received a director credential in both Colorado and Florida, and has been both an assistant director in Colorado and an executive director for a large Florida preschool. Most recently, Jamie worked for the Aspen School District as a full-inclusion toddler/preschool teacher.
