For the past 20 years Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre Company has been offering kids the opportunity to learn about the world of theatre through their Children’s Performance Workshop Series. The kids get a chance to participate in all aspects of theatre, all areas of theatrical production and creative dramatics. The workshops help kids come out of their shells and feel comfortable in front of others.

“We really enjoy introducing children to the fun and creativity of theater. It’s a lot of fun for us to see their self confidence grow and to develop friendships with these great kids,” said Brian Hall, Director of Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre.

Throughout the four days the kids explore their creativity, create characters, learn about theatre, build a show from scratch, and most importantly ” have fun. The highlight of the workshops comes on the last day when the kids present their works in a performance to the public alongside the Beaver Creek Children’s Theatre Company on the plaza at Beaver Creek.
