School: Eagle Valley High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: There have been way too many!

Summer plans: Road trip with my family and best friend!

Where are you headed this fall?: Drake University.

What I’m going to miss about the valley: All my friends and the people I know but mostly my parents.

In 10 years you’ll be: Happy!

Favorite class: AP Lit and DE Environmental Science.

Class you wish had been offered: Naptime.

Anything else? Thanks to everyone that has helped me throughout my entire life!

Laura Nicole Rodriguez

School: Red Canyon High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: Senior float trip my first week of school; I made many lasting memories, it was a great way to kick off the year.

Summer plans: Working hard to save up for college.

Where are you headed this fall? : Bellingham, Wash., to gain residency and ultimately to attend Western Washington University.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most? I will sorely miss the beautiful Colorado nights here in the mountains.

Favorite class you took: Poetry class with Mrs. Constien and Public Policy with Mr. Gladitsch

Anything else? I haven’t been in the valley for long, but I wouldn’t have asked for a better senior year anywhere else. I love all of the beautiful people I have met and I plan on returning someday to this incredible place.

Lesly Sanchez

School: Eagle Valley High School

Favorite school moment from any year: My favorite school moment is becoming LULAC President (League Of United Latin American Citizens) my senior year!

Summer plans: Work, work, work.

Where are you headed this fall: I will be attending Colorado Mesa University.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: The amazing people I met throughout my life!

In 10 years you’ll be: Working for border patrol!

Favorite class you took: Government with Ms. Amelung

Class you wish had been offered: A forensic class or a street law class

Anything else? I would just like to thank everyone who has helped me through my journey of life and continues to do so; you guys have helped me through some of the toughest moments in life and I truly appreciate it all. And to my classmates, we did it!! Do amazing things in life.

Leo Borasio

School: Eagle Valley High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: The California Band trips my sophomore and senior year.

Summer plans: I plan to go climb some 14ers and explore the state of Colorado.

Where are you headed this fall: I will be attending the University of Colorado at Boulder.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I will miss being able to go skiing on any given weekend with only a short drive.

Class you wish had been offered: Film studies.

Kenzie Smith

School: Vail Christian High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: Watching balloons fill the hallway as the freshmen discovered our senior prank.

Summer plans: Dancing at Studio 8100.

Where are you headed this fall: Northwestern University.

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Skiing and warmer winters.

In 10 years you’ll be: Starting my own theatre/dance company.

Favorite class you took: AP English Language.

Class you wish had been offered: Some sort of Shakespeare class.

Madison B. Bryant

School: Battle Mountain High School.

Favorite school moment from any year: When Mr. Frankel ripped his pants in front of the whole physics class.

Summer plans: Traveling and soaking up the sun.

Where are you headed this fall: High Point University. Go Panthers!

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I will miss how beautiful this valley is.

In 10 years you’ll be: Hopefully I will have a successful career and travel the world.

Favorite class you took: My favorite class was A.P. D.E. Biology with Mr. Caudill.

Class you wish had been offered: A class for napping.

Eagle County to host state meeting on new mobile home park law

October 23, 2019

Eagle County will host a Colorado Division of Housing meeting on Friday for mobile-home owners renting space in mobile home parks, park managers and owners, local government officials and any other parties interested in how best to implement the state’s new Mobile Home Park Act.
