Clear Creek tuber saves teen found facedown in water
The Denver Post
A man tubing on Clear Creek on Tuesday evening is credited with saving the life of a teenager he found floating facedown in the fast-flowing water.
Matt Mulica had gone to the creek Tuesday after leaving his job with Denver Water.
When he spotted the 17-year-old teenager, he made his way to the boy, swam with the young man to shore and began administering CPR to the teenager, who wasn’t breathing and had no pulse, Denver Water said in a news release.
By the time paramedics arrived, the young man was showing signs of life. After being taken to a local hospital, the teenager made a full recovery.
