Club revives mum tradition at Eagle Valley

GYPSUM – Eagle Valley High School’s Devils Against Drinking and Drugs club will be selling homecoming mums Friday before and during the football game. “This was a homecoming tradition in the past for EVHS, and we decided to bring it back,” the club’s sponsor, Cathy Strickler, says. The flowers are typically worn by school alumni and Eagle Valley community members. Proceeds benefit Devil’s Against Drinking and Drugs. The cost is $10 per mum.
