CMC cooking classes begin Friday in Edwards

Colorado Mountain College in Edwards is offering an array of cooking classes this summer. The classes are part of the lifelong learning series. Each class is three hours long and cost $50.
Talented chefs and cooks will heat up the innovative kitchen, located in Battle Mountain High School in Edwards. Students will make a wide variety of foods, from Hawaiian food to grilled fare.
Join TV8’s Tracy Miller for Hawaiian Fare on Friday at 6 p.m. or June 25 at 1 p.m. and get in the summertime mood with island inspired favorites like sweet banana pork, macadamia encrusted fish and pineapple treats for all meals.
Discover how to prepare healthy berries in entrees and sandwiches at Summertime Berries in July. If barbecuing is your passion, join the CMC chefs and learn how to brine, marinate, and grill for smoky results. Or take a trip to India and unwrap the basic Indian spices at CMC this summer.
