Collaborations in contemporary art
The Collaborative art gallery opened Dec. 12, in Eagle-Vail with a sensually-rich mix of work.
The gallery provides a broad variety of medium and craft, including work by metal artists, painters, potters, photographers and sculptors.
Gallery manager Simone Fodde-Crotzer and metal artist Tim Benedict collaborated to gather a menu of pieces from various artists.
The Collaborative seeks to feature a different artist with each passing month, and the gallery’s strength lies in contemporary art.
This month’s exhibit displays the work of Erin Robbins. Robbins is a painter who stresses the figurative.
Though the gallery features a different artist each month, there will always be ample supply of various forms of fresh and interesting contemporary art, said Simone Fodde-Crotzer.
