College fair is this weekend in Aspen

ASPEN, Colorado – The seventh annual Colorado Western Slope College Fair will be held Sunday at Aspen High School.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., representatives from 220 colleges, universities, and two-year and technical schools will display information specific to their schools, answer questions about degrees and programs offered, and explain application processes and requirements. This is the largest college exhibition on the Western Slope of Colorado.

Workshops will be offered on topics including “Admissions at Highly Selective Colleges,” “The College Bound Student Athlete,” “Financial Aid for All” (presented in English and Spanish), and “The College Search: Finding the College That Is Right for You.”

Parking is available at Buttermilk Ski Area located on Highway 82, just east of the Aspen airport. Free shuttles will run between Buttermilk parking lot and Aspen High School every 10 minutes.
