VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – Colorado Mountain College’s Vail-Eagle Valley Campus in Edwards is celebrating autumn and honoring our H.E.R.O. Scholarship donors and students at the fourth annual H.E.R.O. Harvest Festival from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

The event, which is free and open to the community, will be on campus, which is located at 150 Miller Ranch Road, in Edwards. There will be pumpkin decorating, face painting and other crafts.

Students in the community college’s culinary arts program will make two kinds of chili (one vegetarian). Hot dogs and warm beverages also will be served. The evening will end with a bonfire and s’more roasting.

Each year, many donors donate to the Higher Education Resources Opportunity Scholarship which gives scholarships to both local high school graduates and adult learners.

The H.E.R.O. program will unveil a second paver garden at this year’s festival. Brick pavers are awarded to donors as a thank you for generous donations.
