Colo. man accused of tossing girlfriend’s puppy in river
GREELEY, Colo. – Police have arrested an Evans man accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, punching her mother and tossing the couple’s puppy into the South Platte River.
The Greeley Tribune reports that 21-year-old Gary Carville could face charges of domestic abuse, assault and cruelty to animals.
A police report says Carville told police he didn’t throw the puppy in the water but let the puppy go beside the river. An officer was unable to find the dog Thursday.
Carville has an unlisted phone number and couldn’t be reached for comment.
