Colo. man finds cremated remains in garage
ARVADA, Colo.- A Colorado family discovered the cremated remains of a woman in the garage of the home where they have lived for 18 years.
Sam Eastman was cleaning the garage of his home this weekend when he decided to move a toolbox that had been untouched since his family moved into the house in the Denver suburb of Arvada. Behind the toolbox he found a Tupperware container that he says he was going to throw away until he saw a tag with the name of Doris Dunkelberger and the date when she was cremated, August 4, 1984. The tag also said she was cremated at the Weaver Crematory in Beaumont, Calif.
Crematory officials told KMGH-TV they are reviewing their records to try to find a Dunkelberger’s family.
