Colorado authorities: Flu shots still coming

Colorado health authorities are trying to calm people afraid they won’t be able to get flu shots.

The state health department says that although some seasonal flu clinics have been postponed, there will be adequate doses in coming weeks.

Also, state authorities say a separate shipment of vaccines for the swine flu are on time for arrival Thursday. The 40,000 doses of vaccine against the H1N1 virus strain will go first to health care workers, with more shipments expected over the coming weeks for members of the public.

Health officials say people need both vaccines this flu season. They say that everyone interested will be able to get vaccines.
