DENVER (AP) – Colorado is starting to catch up on its snow pack.
Nearly all Colorado ski resorts reported fresh snow Sunday. Silverton Mountain reported 17 inches of new snow, Telluride ski area reported 16, and Crested Butte reported 15.
Ski resorts have been complaining this winter about a lack of snow and warm temperatures. On Friday, the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Lakewood reported snow packs in western Colorado at 57 to 68 percent of their 30-year averages.
