Colorado Mountain Medical is moving its Edwards office
EAGLE COUNTY — Colorado Mountain Medical, one of the largest medical providers in Eagle County, is moving its Edwards office to a new location in June. The office will be located in the Buck Creek Medical Plaza, a new state-of-the-art medical building currently under construction in Avon.
Colorado Mountain Medical will relocate its Edwards office in the Shaw Cancer Center, 0322 Beard Creek Road, to a 12,950-square-foot suite on the second floor of the new medical building. The same physicians and services currently offered in the Edwards office will continue at the new location. Colorado Mountain Medical’s new address will be 50 Buck Creek Lane, Suite 205, Avon.
VAIL, EAGLE OFFICES STAYING PUT
Colorado Mountain Medical’s other offices located in the US Bank Building in Vail and on Sylvan Lake Road in Eagle will remain in place. All of Colorado Mountain Medical’s physicians are members of the medical staff at Vail Valley Medical Center and will continue to use that facility for admissions, obstetrical care, and surgical procedures.
“We are very excited about our new facility. Great care has been taken to assure the provision of the highest quality of health care in our new location,” Colorado Mountain Medical Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Brooks F. Bock, said.
The new three-story medical plaza will house a full-time combined urgent care and emergency center operated by Centura Health, as well as a number of other medical providers. The building is designed to promote patient-focused and operationally efficient care.
The Buck Creek Medical Plaza is located at the intersection of Nottingham Road and Buck Creek Lane, a short distance from main Avon exit off Interstate 70. The medical plaza is adjacent to a future bus stop and will provide 180 parking spaces for staff and patients.
“The new location is central for our patients and visitors to the Vail Valley,” said Dr. Janet Engle, a pediatrician and president of Colorado Mountain Medical.
