VAIL VALLEY, Colorado – Unseasonably warm weather may drive rivers in the Vail Valley and western Colorado to crest later this week, the National Weather Services.

That includes the Colorado, Eagle and Yampa rivers.

Warm temperatures, which are expected to continue through the week, are melting snow, and flooding is possible, the Weather Service says.

Vail could see temperatures in the low to mid 80s Monday and Tuesday afternoon before a chance of rain enters the forecast on Wednesday, the Weather Service says.

Gusty winds and heavy showers are possible later in the week, the Weather Service says.
