Comedian Chris Voth comes to Eagle
EAGLE – ‘Comedy Night at the Bowlmor’ returns to The Back Bowl in Eagle, Saturday at 8 p.m. with the reprise performance of Miller Lite Comedy Champion, Chris Voth.Voth was one of the first – and funniest – acts to take to the Bowlmor stage during the first two years of the Comedy Night series. He is a two-time finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has worked clubs around the country both as a headliner and as an opening act for some of today’s premier names in stand-up, including: Dave Chapelle, Dana Carvey, Tommy Chong, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Nealin and many more. His reputation for clean shows has made Voth’s routines appealing to wide-ranging crowds wherever he goes, including Denver’s popular Comedy Works.Opening the April installment of Comedy Night is former local Jeff Wozer. Much of Wozer’s clean and clever material is drawn from his experiences as a very active outdoorsman (he climbed Mt. Everest), which enable mountain audiences to relate well to his musings about the lifestyle. Over the years he has worked with the likes of Lewis Black, Brian Regan, Dave Chappelle, Darrell Hammond, and Martin Short.Tickets for are $15 at the door. Group rates are also available. For this month’s show, the Back Bowl is offering a ‘Dine & Laff’ dinner special with select entrees and the comedy show for $21.95.
