EAGLE — Making his fourth appearance at The Bowlmor will be Denver comic, Vinnie Montez, followed by award-winning sports journalist, Sam Adams.

Montez has a loud and boisterous style, with insight that brings a observational flavor to his act. Critics call him a “compact ball of energy waiting to explode with humor,” and he is a regular opener at the Comedy Works in Denver.

Adams put a new twist on the all-too-familiar vagaries of daily life, bringing the humor home. He lives by the axiom that comedy doesn’t have to be foul to be funny, making this a great show for everyone to enjoy.

In the best Cosby tradition, his clean and incisive act led one reviewer to say, “He brings down the house with a string of well-delivered lines that are notable for their lack of profanity, scatological or sexual references.’’ Adams is a past winner of the Great American Comedy Festival as well as other comedy competitions held throughout the region.

Adams is currently one of the top local headliners at Denver’s Comedy Works, as well as clubs throughout the region, and has opened for national acts like Frank Caliendo, Josh Blue and the iconic David Letterman. He has also shared stages as a leadoff and featured act for touring musical artists including jazzmen David Sanborn and Al Jarreau. Sam has performed on some of the biggest stages in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston and New York, and at Red Rocks and the Paramount Theater in Denver.
