Comedy returns to Back Bowl in Eagle

Vail Daily staff report
Eagle, CO Colorado

EAGLE, Colorado – After a brief hiatus, the ‘Comedy Night at the Bowlmor’ series returns to The Back Bowl in Eagle, Saturday, 8 pm, with the return of Comedy Works headliner, Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald, making his third appearance at the Comedy Night series, is the nation’s only known veterinarian and stand-up comic. He also happens to be very, very funny. So funny, in fact, that he starred in his own television series on Animal Planet for over 10 years.

Over the last 20 years, he has opened for some of the greatest comic talents of our time, including the great Bob Hope. He’s shared the stage with Lewis Black, Sinbad and Larry the Cable Guy. In addition he’s warmed up for musical acts like EmmyLou Harris, Diana Ross, Randy Travis and the Neville Brothers.

Opening for Fitzgerald is Denver’s most current ‘funniest housewife,’ Stephanie McHugh. McHugh is a regular at the Comedy Works and was a finalist in Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom contest and the Laugh Across America Contest. She was also a finalist in Oxygen’s Hit TV Series ‘Girls Behaving Badly’ Nationwide Talent Search.

Stephanie won the 2002 Summer Comedy Contest at Wits End Comedy Club and now performs all over the mountain region.

Tickets are on sale now for $12 in advance and $15 on the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased at The Back Bowl, or by phone with a credit card by calling 970-328-BOWL. VIsit
