Each year we raise and distribute $250,000 for locals in need.Where does your funding come from? Our funding comes from a variety of sources including the United Way of the Eagle River Valley, Vail Valley Cares, Barbara Treat Foundation, Anschutz Foundation, Vail Valley Motorcycle Foundation, East West Hoedown, Vail Custom Builders, Eagle County Health & Human Services, Vail Resorts, the annual SteamMaster Golf Tournament, the bi-annual Christel House Open, the annual Big Beers, Belgians, & Barleywines Festival, the Beaver Creek Summer Solstice Twilight Trail Run, thousands of individual and business donations and sponsors, and sales of the annual Undressed Calendar. How many staff members work for you? The Vail Valley Charitable Fund operates with just one part-time employee and 13 active volunteer board members. Anything else youd like the community to know about the organization?The Vail Valley Charitable Fund is an incredibly efficient organization with its primary focus on the amount of aid it can provide to individuals in crisis. More than 85 percent of every dollar raised by the Vail Valley Charitable Fund goes directly to the individuals we serve. These funds help individuals and families focus on healing rather than the financial strain that their illness has placed on them.
