Students from Homestake Peak School won $1,000 and the chance to enjoy a skating field trip in Vail after submitting a winning video to the EverFi financial literacy award, sponsored by EverBank, the Vail Valley Foundation, YouthPower365 and the Lapin Family Foundation. The video answered the question: âIf your class were to win $1,000, how would you apply the lessons learned with EverFi to better their community?â Students from Edwards Elementary also won $1,000, and skated at Beaver Creek Dec. 13.
