Congratulations, Eric News News | Jun 29, 2017 Eric Johnson, a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado University at Boulder, joined Pierce Architects in April. Having enjoyed the mountains since the first 10th Mountain Reunion, Eric and his wife, Cheryl, moved to Vail in 1989. They raised their daughter, Marit, through Battle Mountain High School and Colorado University at Boulder, while involving themselves as well. Since starting Eric Johnson Architect in 1995, Johnson has worked on more than 100 projects in the Vail Valley, one of which was published in Luxe 2015. Now at Pierce, he has been working on residences at Plaza Lodge and Ptarmigan Road and on larger projects such as Strawberry Fields Dispensary and Breakaway West 500.
