‘Conscious sedation’ at Center for Aesthetic Dentistry
AVON – Patients can be treated with a new technique, “conscious sedation,” at Dr. Jim Harding’s Vail Valley Center for Aesthetic Dentistry. Newly hired nurse-anesthetist Sally Agnoletto will perform the procedure. The technique is meant to relax patients who are anxious about dental treatment. “The main factor in avoiding dental work is fear of pain and discomfort,” Harding says. “This generation of dentistry – one that uses not only the most cutting-edge technologies and procedures – has now found a way to eliminate the pain and anxiety so often associated with dental work.”Agnoletto has been a nurse and anesthetist for more than 20 years and has worked in the Vail Valley for 15 years.
