Construction meetings return in Vail

Daily staff report
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado – After a summer break, the town of Vail will resume hosting weekly construction meetings beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 7 in the Vail Public Library community room and continuing each Tuesday at 9 a.m. through Nov. 15.

The weekly meetings will be used to provide information about ongoing and upcoming projects and to provide opportunities to address issues and concerns. The town is helping to coordinate activities at five commercial construction sites and seven public projects within the town as well as various street and utility projects. The activity signals the start of the fall construction season, which allows contractors to work within the public right-of-way in Vail Village and Lionshead from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week between Sept. 7 and Nov. 15.

Neighborhood representatives and contractors are encouraged to attend the weekly meetings, which will be facilitated by Leonard Sandoval, the town’s construction coordinator-inspector.
