Cops: Avon man played music for pot plants
Vail, CO Colorado
AVON, Colorado ” A man who used classical music to help his marijuana plants grow was arrested Wednesday, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said.
Jonathan Franzyshen, 38, of Avon, was growing two marijuana plants in the laundry room of his home, police said.
He will be charged with cultivation of marijuana, a felony, the Sheriff’s Office said.
“The marijuana bust was a result of an ongoing investigation,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Franzyshen’s number was not listed in the phone book and it could not be determined Wednesday evening whether Franzyshen had an attorney.
Franzyshen’s arrest was the 13th drug arrest that the Sheriff’s Office drug task force has made since it was formed in November.
