Cops catch rude gesture in Eagle

EAGLE, Colorado –Two Eagle officers were the recipients of an obscene gesture last week.

The officers, dressed in civilian clothing, were doing training in the town board chamber room at Eagle Town Hall when they observed three men walk by. One of the men looked in and kept walking back and forth by the window until he stuck up his middle finger and waved it at the officers.

The officers left the building and met up with the men on Second Street. The officers identified themselves and brought the man, who cursed at them, to the police department.

The man apologized and was given a warning for harassment.
