Divide Water Loop Project

The Water Looping Project is progressing. We anticipate all water line construction to be completed by the end of September. We will be completing the final vault construction later in the fall. We will keep you updated as the project progresses.

Please contact Mr. Dale Corporon at (970) 569-6260 or email; with any questions.

Please Respect Private Property

Cordillera has over 3,000 acres of open space and at least 30 miles of hiking trails dedicated for the use of wildlife and Cordillera owners. Cordillera has direct access to Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management public lands adjacent to the Summit and Territories.

Within a short distance of Cordillera there is additional access to public lands. With all of this opportunity for back country use we ask that property owners respect other people’s private property.

Lately, Public Safety has been receiving calls from frustrated property owners asking for assistance in keeping their property private. Please respect private property so neither these property owners or Public Safety are forced to take enforcement action. Specifically note that much of the land between the El Mirador water tank and Colorow is private property.

Dog Park Update

Please make sure that you sign in when using the park. The sign up sheets are in the warming hut. Also, the Metro District has a volleyball and basketball for use at the park. They are stored at the Admin building and must be checked out for day use. We encourage everyone to use and enjoy Cordillera’s newest amenity.

Please contact Mr. Dale Corporon at (970) 569-6260 or email; with any questions.

Paving On Andorra

Paving will begin on Andorra Road, the week of 8 October, starting with patching and the final overlay toward the end of the week. Minor delays may be expected.

Please contact Mr. Dale Corporon at (970) 569-6260 or email; with any questions.
