Cordillera’s Sounds of Summer series kicks off Thursday, July 7

Established in 2002, Homeslice is a nine-piece vocal and horn musical powerhouse band based in Denver. The band will play Cordillera’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 7.

EDWARDS — Cordillera's Sounds of Summer Concert Series kicks off on Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bearcat Stables in Edwards with Denver-based funk band Homeslice. Admission is free, and the concert is open to the public.

"We're excited to bring Homeslice to Cordillera," said Rachel Oys, general manager of Cordillera. "Our first free concert last summer was a success, and we're pleased to welcome our Vail Valley neighbors back to Cordillera this summer for the first of our Sounds of Summer Concert Series. Homeslice is an amazing band, and this show will help extend the feel of the holiday weekend."

In addition to the free music, food and beverage deals will be offered for the show. Bearcat Stables will be open to welcome visitors at 5 p.m., so bring a blanket or a lawn chair and prepare for an evening of tunes that are sure to get you dancing.
