Country Music Hall of famer reschedules upcoming tour

Special to the DailyCountry musician Kathy Mattea has rescheduled her Vilar Center performance for Friday due to a death in the family.

BEAVER CREEK – Due to death in the family, the Kathy Mattea performances scheduled for Saturday and Sunday will be canceled in order to accommodate family memorial and funeral services. Reschedule dates are as follows:

— Saturday’s Arvada Center Amphitheatre show rescheduled to Thursday.– Sunday’s Vilar Center for the Arts show rescheduled for Friday.

“We deeply regret this unfortunate turn of events. I know Kathy appreciates everyone’s understanding of her personal situation and looks forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks,” said her personal manager Marc Dottore.From the Country Music Hall of Fame to the Grand Ole Opry, Mattea has throngs of fans the world over. This two-time Grammy winning artist was voted Country Music Association’s Top Female Vocalist numerous times, and she has had 18 Top Ten Hits including “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses,” “Where’ve You Been,” “Love at the Five and Dime,” “Come From the Heart” and “Burnin’ Old Memories.”
