Crawfish and hurricanes in Vail, Beaver Creek

Daily staff report
Newsroom@vaildaily.com
Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado ” Why only celebrate Mardi Gras just on Fat Tuesday in Vail, Colorado when you can revel in the fun all weekend long? Both Chophouse restaurants ” Vail and Beaver Creek locations ” will kick off the celebration by offering a special Cajun-style menu featuring recipes created by Chef Michelle McRaney of Mr. B’s Bistro in New Orleans, a frequent visitor to the Vail Valley and occasional guest chef at the Chophouse. Both restaurants will also offer specials on Abita beers, brewed in New Orelans, and Hurricanes, the drink of choice at every Mardi Gras Celebration. All drink and menu specials will run today through Fat Tuesday.

In addition to the specials offered, the Mardi Gras festivities ramp up today and Sunday as each restaurant hosts a crawfish boil Chophouse style. Stop by the Beaver Creek Chophouse today and the Vail Chophouse on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and enjoy a heaping plate of crawfish for $5 a plate, refresh with an Abita beer or Hurricane, and adorn yourself with a variety of Mardi Gras beads as you take in the gorgeous mountain views and abundant sunshine.
