Former Eagle County deputy pleads guilty to misdemeanor

EAGLE — A former Eagle County Sheriff’s deputy pleaded guilty misdemeanor misconduct.

Arthur Freemen Jr., 44, will spend a year on probation and perform 100 hours of community service.

Freeman was a patrol deputy in 2014 and 2015, and while on duty, he used his patrol vehicle for consensual sexual activity. An internal investigation resulted in Freeman’s discharge from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 1, 2016.
