LaSalle police investigate shots fired into Hells Angels clubhouse on May 31
LaSalle police still are looking for a man they say fired four shots into a Hells Angels Motorcycle Club clubhouse early Wednesday morning. No one was injured during the shooting.
According to Chief Carl Harvey, police believe the shooting occurred just after 1:15 a.m. at 123 Main St. in LaSalle. The address is a Hells Angels clubhouse, he said.
Police believe the man arrived in a vehicle, got out and fired four rounds from a shotgun into the building’s windows and doors. After that, Harvey said, police believe the man got back in the vehicle and drove south on Main Street.
Harvey said police are uncertain whether the shooting was gang-related. He did say he believes it was an isolated incident, and that there is no threat to the general public. He added officers are currently pursuing a lead on a suspect.
Anyone who has any information about the shooting can contact the LaSalle Police Department at (970) 284-5541.
