The Buckaroo Bonanza Bunch is getting ready to raise the curtain on a brand new wild western family dinner show at Eagle’s Nest in Vail for the winter season. The night kicks off with a free ride up the gondola, followed by a family dinner in the Market Place Dining Hall; throughout dinner the western gang will entertain with tales and songs of the Old West. After dinner it’s time for a rip-roaring Wild West show. Dinner will feature a BBQ buffet with a special dessert for guests of all ages.

“We’re getting the gang back together and it’s going to be fun,” said J.B. Tucker “showman,” head wrangler for the Buckaroo Bonanza Bunch Children’s Theatre. “Jack Rabbit is writing some new jokes and I asked him to make ’em funny this time and Big Al’s writing some new songs and I promised him I won’t try to sing ’em.”

Performing in the shows with J.B. are a gaggle of western types including Jackrabbit Joe, “Mountain Man Extraordinaire,” Sure Shot Shirley, Sheriff Buckaroo Bob and Big Al, “Songster of The Sagebrush.”

The show comes alive with cowboy poetry, western wisdom moments, fractured tales of the old west and real live cowboy music in a fast-moving, high-energy performance. So gather up the kids, the cows and the chickens and come on by for a roaring good time of wild western fun and tummy pleasing meal at Eagle’s Nest in Vail.
