The Dance Festival kicked off last week with amazing performances from the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company and Fang-Yi Sheu, formerly of Martha Graham.Damian Woetzel, now in his second year with the Vail International Dance Festival, didnt hold back in bringing in the talent and the stars. Opening night featured musician and prolific composer Philip Glass, cellist Wendy Sutter, Eugenia Zukerman, the Rossetti String Quartet and more.
Underwriters for the series include Presenters Circle members Judy Alexander, Judy and Howard Berkowitz, Leni and Peter May and the Oscar Tang Family.
