Darius Rucker to play Steadman fundraiser in Vail
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL – This year’s summer fundraiser for Vail’s Steadman Philippon Research Institute features a concert by country music singer Darius Rucker. The concert, held July 8 at Gerald R. Ford amphitheater, is free of charge to the general public but ticket holders will receive V.I.P. seating, dinner and an auction post concert.
“We are so thankful to Darius Rucker, who offered to do this concert for us because of his relationship with Dr. Steadman,” said Sheri Wharton, the institute’s director of special events. “He’s one of country music’s hottest stars and it speaks volumes about the value of this organization that he recognizes how important our mission is and is willing to help.”
Tickets to “History In The Making” cost $225 per person and include V.I.P. seating at the concert, a private dinner at Larkspur restaurant and a live and silent auction. All proceeds from the event go to the institute for research and education in the areas of arthritis, healing, rehabilitation and injury.
