Edith London died in April 2007 at age 89, with the Rocky Mountain Nature Association as the primary beneficiary of her will.

She and her late husband, John, fled the Nazis during World War II and pledged never to return to Europe and never to bring children into a world that had been so cruel.

John London became an engineer for General Motors. Edith London was an accountant for sugar beet companies.

John London died in October 2001 at age 85.
