Denver man charged with murder in baby son’s death
DENVER – A man whose 7-month-old son died after being taken to a hospital has been charged with first-degree murder.
Denver prosecutors also charged 32-year-old Andrew Szeremy on Monday with child abuse resulting in death.
Police went to a home May 14 on a report of a child not breathing. Noah was taken to a hospital but died two days later. Prosecutors allege Noah was in Szeremy’s care when he was fatally injured.
Szeremy was being held without bond. He was due in court Wednesday to be advised of the charges.
