Denver police computer used to send ‘antichrist’ message
DENVER, Colorado ” Police in Denver, Colorado want to find out who sent an e-mail from a department computer suggesting that a presidential candidate is the antichrist.
KUSA-TV received a copy of the e-mail from a police officer who objected to the use of department computers to send such messages.
Police Chief Gerry Whitman launched an investigation Monday.
The e-mail states that the “Anti-Christ (sic) will be a man, in his 40’s, of Muslim descent.” It does not mention a candidate’s name.
“Have the American People completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason?” the e-mail says. “I’m sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the ‘unknown’ candidate.”
Neither presidential candidate is a Muslim.
The e-mail also criticizes screeners at airports for not profiling travelers.
