Denver police cruiser crashes through bedroom

DENVER – A police cruiser has crashed into a home in Denver while chasing some carjacking suspects.

The crash happened at around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Police were chasing the suspects’ sedan when the patrol car collided with it in a largely residential area, sending the cruiser into a home.

The cruiser crashed through a bedroom wall but no one was injured inside. The owner was sleeping there and says the cruiser hit the wall where the dresser is, sparing her.

The suspects’ car ended up in a yard across the street and one suspect was injured. All were arrested.

Police decided to chase the vehicle because the suspects wanted in the carjacking were believed to be responsible for an armed robbery of a cab driver a short time later.
