VAIL VALLEY, Colorado ” For keeping the apartment complex property manager up past 3 a.m., a trio of Vail Valley, Colorado roommates got off pretty easy when a deputy knocked on their door to tell them to cut the noise.

The three men understood and turned the music down, stopped the thumping around the apartment and told the deputy their girlfriends would be going home soon and the rest of the early morning would be quiet.

When the deputy left, after giving just a verbal warning to the noisemakers, it sounded as if that would be the case.

But he was called again 20 minutes later by the property manager who said that shortly after the deputy left, the party resumed.

It must have been like deja vu for the deputy “-he knocked on the door to be welcomed with the same loud music and saw the same girlfriends that were supposed to have gone home, the report said.

The second time he wasn’t as neighborly and issued the tenants summonses for disorderly conduct.
