Dine out and help the dance team
EAGLE – We already know that Eagle Valley High School dance team members are great on their feet. The girls are waiting tables at Grand Avenue Grill at 678 Grand Avenue in Eagle on Sunday. Dancers are raising money for the an upcoming mational competition this February.
The team qualified for the competition last summer, and all tips from dining that night will benefit their program. From 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 PM on December 12, Eagle Valley dance team members will be seating, serving and bussing tables at Grand Avenue Grill and reservations are filling up. “We are so fortunate that Grand Avenue is hosting this event,” says senior Marlis McChesney.
All tips must be in the form of cash or a check made out to the Eagle Valley High School dance team in order for the dancers to receive the funds. The girls are encouraging the community to come out and support their efforts.
“Don’t cook on Sunday night,” senior Ashley Woodworth says. “Make a reservation at the Grand Avenue, bring your family and relax.”Vail, Colorado

As Jason Varnish hung from a Vail chairlift in February, eventually dying of positional asphyxia, the lone lift operator yelled to witnesses that he was not able to reverse the lift without permission, according to a Sheriff’s Office incident report released Wednesday.
